Toronto Insights Business Directory is an online platform designed to connect local businesses with the community, helping them gain visibility and attract new customers. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and help grow the directory by bringing in new business registrations.
Role Overview:
As a Business Directory Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to reach out to local businesses, introduce them to the benefits of being listed on our directory, and successfully register them. This is a commission-only role, where you will earn a commission for each business you bring onboard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect local businesses in Toronto and surrounding areas.
- Reach out through calls, emails, in-person visits, and networking events.
- Explain the benefits of being listed in the directory and answer business owners’ questions.
- Guide businesses through the registration process.
- Meet or exceed monthly registration targets.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and signed businesses.
What We’re Looking For:
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and goal-oriented individuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is an asset (but not required).
- Knowledge of the Toronto business community is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
Compensation:
- This is a commission-based role.
- You earn a commission for every business you successfully register.
